Ho-hum. Some of your tips are America-only, I fear: you're not going to get the good citizens of Edinburgh, Scotland to paint their roofs white under any circumstances, for example. On smaller houses: isn't it true too that for an object such as a house, the smaller the object, the higher the ratio of surface area, and consequently heat loss or gain, to volume? Can you tell us how to work out where the sweet spot is, please?

What about bicicles? Aren�t they the best choice to a sustainable or ecofriendly world?
As cited,
"...reduce their transportation costs..." - bikes don�t use fuel or energy that is produced by fossil-fuel-burning power plants.
"...scooters can help ease traffic congestion..." - so do bikes, and in a cleaner way.
And for further comparison with the above cited models:

Hydro carbon emissions (gms/km): 0,000
So, afterall, what is the most ecofriendly choice?
