
CONSTELLATION'S CREW LAUNCHER: The Ares 1 rocket will send future astronauts into orbit.

Engineers and researchers at NASA and its contractors are developing the rocket boosters and space modules for the upcoming Constellation/Orion missions. NASA's new space transportation system will take the next generation of astronauts to the International Space Station, the moon and perhaps beyond.
