Reply | Report Abuse | Link to thisthat the above quote was included in SA's Livingstone obituary (1874) seems to suggest that SA may have agreed with the sentiment, at least in part, at the time (irrespective of the "martyr to science" note).
does SA have a different opinion of Livingstone today?
