By page 77 of The God Gene, Dean H. Hamer has already disowned the title of his own book. He recalls describing to a colleague his discovery of a link between spirituality and a specific gene he calls "the God gene." His colleague raised her eyebrows. "Do you mean there's just one?" she asked.

Add Commentmy name is steven michael murray born sept 22 1959 i do not know why i stumbled on to this but i have been searching for answers to help myself figure out what i am experiencing. some of the articles i have just read are in ny visions and my art that is hard for me to explain for over a year now i have had an awakening of some sort i keep saying that some of us have a special type of god blueprint instilled in us not all its like i am seeing and hearing and experiencing a life force of all life. now i am holding bees without being stung but what is troubling to me is that i am able to see and hear these identities as they even slip into my friends as they start telling me things and then they do not remember. when i first got this i started calling myself gods cahos alot of things come in parables. i look at a tree and see the faces and its lifeforce. there is a definated something going on with me mother earth and the great one creation and it has some sort of a sense of urgency.
