From the wording and type of questions asked, being shy could skew the results even though said shy person could otherwise be very agreeable and friendly.

You could always imagine someone nicer/meaner than you to make yourself feel better. Check out this article on imaginary siblings--turns out kids aren't the only ones.

For shame Scientific American. This "quiz" is ridiculously trite.
In fact, I just now wrote a similar, yet superior quiz!
It's called the: "Are you a super cool, awesome, better-than-everyone else type person?"
1)"Are you awesome?" [yes] or [no]
2)"You're surely the coolest person you know, right?" [yes] or [no]
3)"I'm kind of a big deal!" [yes] or [no]

WOW, way to go! You scored a 100% on the "Are you a super cool, awesome, better-than-everyone else person quiz." You ARE kind of a big deal! weeeeeeeee!!!!!

    Very "scientific" indeed.

This is a very subjective quiz and not at all objective which is a requirement of science. I'm not saying I could do better but a more accurate quiz would involve self assessment and assessment by others.

I was going to respond to 7777 but I just found out I'm about 3 months late. If he's ever back, the way to get the rest of question 10 is to scroll down the dark bar on the right a little.
