Is there any proof that Alzheimer's disease is related to exposure to aluminum--for instance, by using aluminum frying pans?

"In my opinion, the supposed relation between aluminum and Alzheimer's Disease is a simple case of neuromythology.

The fact remains though that many animal species when given aluminum fluroide water develop brain tissue degeneration on microscopic examination and have associated behavioral adverse effecets (Varner, Brain Research 1995). i do not recommend cooking with aluminum in a fluroidated city, where aluminum fluoride forms uncharged particles in stomach acid that are assimilated more readily than is the free aluminum ion. It is better to be cautious, than to find out after decades of aluminum consumption, to have been wrong, that somehow humans are less sensitive than rats to aluminum toxicity.
