SEVERAL CONTROVERSIAL January articles drew abundant mail, but "Misleading Math about the Earth," criticizing Bj¿rn Lomborg's book The Skeptical Environmentalist, led the pack in volume and venom. Many dismayed readers wrote to express their angry (though misplaced) concern that Lomborg would not be allowed to reply to his critics. As planned, however, Lomborg's reply can be found on page 14 and at
www.sciam.com, along with responses to his rebuttal arguments.
