    Actually, "Regarding Henry" was made well before H.M. was publicly identified upon his death in 2008, and the form of amnesia he possessed (anterograde) was different than the Henry character in the movie (retrograde). The name is apparently just an interesting coincidence! If you seek a movie analog I believe Chris Nolan's film "Memento" is actually closer to the type of amnesia experienced by Henry Molaison, or, to an extent, "50 First Dates".
