Reply | Report Abuse | Link to thisIt's disconcerting to read an article about Lyme that STILL suggests that deer are a major reservoir of Lyme. Dr. Richard Ostfeld's research into the ecology of Lyme has shown that it's mice and chipmunk, not deer populations that effect levels of Lyme in the environment. So, the statement that Lyme is increasing, independent of deer populations is misleading, at best.
