Add CommentWhy should the universe comply to simple laws, when most things are in fact governed by chaos theory. When early man thought about his environment, he saw chaos all around him, except for the sky : There at least things were fixed by definable laws, or so he thought. Now we know that we cannot predict the future because of chaos theory. The immutable laws are only valid at certain scales, and are no more exact than Kepler's epicycles. Thank you Heisenberg!
