Add CommentI have my doubts about Iran and North Korea. These countries are just a hair away from revolution. The governments are soon going to find either internal police forces or giving something back to their populations are more important than space. These states are doing what we did in the 1950s. If Iran's leaders have any brains at all they wouldn't dare send an astronaut into orbit with such a high probability of death.

Russia was first, America was a second rate nation catching up...where's that in your write-up or has history been so confused you don't know which country did what.
I "sponsored" the secret. However, Yes Asia is in a Space RACE and the more the west writes about it the more it'll happen. We want more.
Reply | Report Abuse | Link to thisRussia was first into space, the USA was first to the moon. I would hardly consider the USA a 'second rate country', being technologically decades ahead of just about everyone else. Science was a core aspect of the mid-19hundreds in the USA, and because of that so was social development. Then the coldwar was obviously becoming a losing battle for the USSR and everything went to shit.
