The book, Genetic Roulette: The Documented Health Risks of Genetically Engineered Foods by Jeffrey Smith . the foremost educator on a huge range of GMO studies done, shows 57 food risks from GMO technology. GMO health and safety tests have never been designed to test at risk groups--particularly pregnant mothers, babies and children---the future of our humanity. This has huge unintended consequences.

Recently a national outrage occurring over rBGH in milk (mostly consumed by babies and young children) perpetuated industry removal of this unnecessary and even dangerous GMO ingredient in milk after negative health effects were published regarding this. (http://www.centerforfoodsafety.org) Soya in Enfamil and nonorganic breakfast foods contain GMOs.
We must be willing to look deeper into genetic manipulation and the stability of the technology itself, despite industry claims of safety and productivity. Further, Arpad Pustztai has recently acknowledged some possible new connections between the health and societal disfunction risk factor link in children with autism and GMOs, and GMOs and the lack of ability to possibly process vaccines. Some studies say 1 in 150 some say 1 in 165 children in the US are diagnosed with autism! -- at epidemic proportions in this country. Some of the website blogs show at risk autistic children respond favorably to the elimination of exposure to both chemicals and exposure to GMO foods and GMO influences in the environment.
