Add CommentWho is that 12-year-old on the video? It's really simple and doesn't require 60 seconds. Evolutionary developmental biology (evolution of development or informally, evo-devo) is a field of biology that compares the developmental processes of different animals and plants in an attempt to determine the ancestral relationship between organisms and how developmental processes evolved.
Reply | Report Abuse | Link to thisOne of the best introductions to Evo-Devo is the book by a University of Wisconsin professor entitled "Endless Forms Most Beautiful: The New Science of Evo Devo" by Sean B. Carroll. An excellent read -- highly recommended.
