You'd think fighting ghosts would be a business with longevity, what with people dying every day and all. And wuddya know: the Ghostbusters are making a comeback, Variety is reporting.
Nearly a quarter century after they saved New York from the Stay Puft Marshmellow Man, actors and former Saturday Night Live alums Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd will be reunited in a third installment of the blockbuster franchise, the trade mag says. Their sidekicks, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson, are set to join them.
But the Hollywood Reporter says that while the original cast is aware of the film and may be involved, producers are eyeing a new cast.
