The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular genetics as evidenced by a strong publication record and recommendations. She/He must have completed a Ph.D. in a relevant molecular biology or genetics discipline no more than 3 years prior to commencement of this work. Prior experience in small RNA biology/genomics and in genome edition technologies (CRISPR and/or TALEN) are sought assets. The candidate will be expected to take part in a highly translational and collaborative environment.
This position will be supported by the prestigious, renewable Mitch Garber Post-doctoral Fellowship. The project will be structured around hypothesis-driven, high-impact, publishable research landmarks attainable within the term of the fellowship.
