Requisition number: Postdoc Wnt signalling
Science jobs from German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ):
The Wnt/β-catenin pathway plays an eminent role in development and disease. The project involves characterisation of the signaling properties of novel candidate Wnt regulators and to study their role as regulators of cell differentiation in vitro and in vivo (ES cells, Xenopus, mouse). In addition the link between Wnt signaling, cell proliferation, cell growth and mitosis shall be analyzed. We are an English speaking, international laboratory (Prof. Christof Niehrs). Candidates should ideally have a background in molecular development or molecular biology. Candidates should have at least one first author paper published, in press, or submitted.
Starting Date: Until September 1st 2014
Eligible Nationalities: Because of the funding nature eligible candidate nationalities are EU, Switzerland, Israel, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Australia, North and South America.
Please send a single pdf file including CV (Germans: copies of Abitur- & Diplomzeugnis), a cover letter stating research and career interests, and have two letters of reference forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org Incomplete applications will not be considered or acknowledged.
