Candidates must have a PhD in stem cell biology, cancer biology, cell and/or molecular biology or related fields. Candidates must be able to form part of a multinational team, think critically and independently and have a commitment to excellence. Candidates must also be willing to work with genetically modified mice.
The Lucas' laboratory will be located in the state of the art BSRB building at Michigan University (MU) in Ann Arbor. Michigan University is one of the major scientific powerhouses in the world ranking 20th-21st in World University Rankings (http://www.timeshighereducation.co.uk/world-university-rankings/2012-13/world-ranking) and in the Nature Publishing Index (http://www.natureasia.com/en/publishing-index/global/).
Candidates are expected to start in Winter 2014. Annual salary will range between $39,000-$47,000 depending on publication record and experience.
