Science jobs from Universidade de Brasília:
Position and Requirements

We are looking for a talented Postdoc to model and characterize printed organics transistors (OFETs). The project is part of collaborative research initiative between the Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden (Cfaed) and Universidade de Brasília (UnB) in Brazil and financed by the government of Brazil. The research is located at UnB but may include an initial research visit at the Cfaed for several months.

A simulation and modeling infrastructure for printed organic transistors will be established and tech-niques for the electrical characterization of printed organic transistors will be developed. The electrical results will be used for verifying and calibrating the models and simulations tools. Compact models which allow circuit design will be developed.

We aim at attracting the best talents in the respective research field. Applicants should hold an out-standing PhD degree (or equivalent) in physics, electronics or related. Excellent knowledge of semicon-ductor device physics and electrical device characterization is mandatory. Experience in organic elec-tronics and compact modeling are beneficial. An outstanding academic performance in previous studies and some research experience are expected. Highly motivated, independent and solution-driven applicants who are willing to work in an international and multi-disciplinary team are welcome. Fluency in English (written and oral) and basic knowledge of Portuguese is implied.
