A postdoctoral position is available in Rick Proia's laboratory (http://irp.nih.gov/pi/richard-proia) at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, Bethesda, MD. The successful candidate would join an interactive team of researchers in a creative scientific environment focused on developing new approaches to study metabolism and signaling in biology and in human diseases.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent with less than two years of postdoctoral experience, an ability for independent research, an interest in interdisciplinary approaches and collaborations, and publications in peer reviewed journals. Demonstrated background in cellular and molecular biology is essential. Salary is commensurate with research experience and accomplishments
