Job Description: A new group studying stem cell homeostasis in gut development and disease invites applications for a research technician at The Hospital for Sick Children (, a University of Toronto affiliated hospital. Our group investigates signaling and transcriptional mechanisms of stomach and intestinal stem cells by applying mouse genetics, stem cell and organoid cultures, and epigenomic analyses. A qualified candidate should have at least Bachelor's degree with a major in the life sciences, and the selected candidate will participate in research projects and manage laboratory operations including ordering. This position would be especially beneficial for an individual looking to gain research training for future graduate or medical schools since he/she will have the opportunity to lead own project under the mentorship of PI.
