Adimab is looking for an experienced biochemist with hands-on knowledge of biophysical characterization of proteins or antibodies to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing in vitro kinetic assays with purified antibodies and antigen using BLI or solution equilibrium titrations. In addition, as a member of our Protein Analytics team, the candidate would be expected to perform stability studies as well as analytical chromatographic and dynamic light scattering techniques to help our Antibody Discovery team identify antibodies as potential therapeutic leads.

The successful candidate will work in a small team setting to support Adimab's novel antibody discovery, maturation, and production platform by performing the following assays:

Real-time (BLI) and solution equilibrium titration measurements of antibody:antigen affinity Competition assays to determine epitopic coverage of selected antibodies Antibody thermostability assays (DSF) Chromatographic techniques such as analytical size exclusion chromatography using HPLC Mass identification of antibodies and antigen by LC-MS Quality control assays on both antibodies and antigen


B.A./B.S. with 4+ years or M.S. with 2+ years in an academic lab or an industrial biopharmaceutical or biotechnology setting Effective communication skills Adaptable and productive in a fast-paced environment Depth of technical knowledge in kinetics Strong biophysics/biochemistry background as demonstrated by publications or defined coursework with emphasis in these areas Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with independently designing and implementing kinetic assays (SPR, solution phase affinity measurements, etc.) Strong technical knowledge in SPR or BLI affinity measurements and ELISAs Applied knowledge of data fitting of kinetic data (Prism, KaleidaGraph, Origin, etc.)
