A local supplier of Scientific Microscopes and Optical instrumentation supplied into the laboratory is looking for a talented Field Service Engineers based in the Home Counties and London. The successful candidate will join a company with an established reputation. This excellent role is suitable for individuals based anywhere in the SE UK with an engineering background and experience of working with complex medical systems, lasers or optical systems.
Responsibilities include: To cultivate a positive rapport with the customer, demonstrating first class interpersonal skills in a courteous and professional manner at all times. To carry out electrical/mechanical fault finding of equipment. To carry out calibration of equipment. To organise and prioritise a continuously changing workload, ensuring that all customers' calls and enquiries are replied to. * To problem solve, combining initiative with a practical and logical approach to all aspects of the position.
Candidates from any area within the UK will be considered if they are willing to relocate, this excellent opportunity will suit someone with a solid electronics / engineering / biotechnology background and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. This position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to grow in a Biotechnology High-Tech field, allowing an opportunity to work in a vibrant and growing team, while receiving an attractive salary package with bonus, company car, pension scheme, and generous holiday.
