You will need the right blend of skills to produce high-quality communications, and the ability to liaise directly and effectively with clients and clinical experts. Applicants must have a life science degree (preferably a PhD) and previous writing experience. A proven track record in medical communications is essential, along with the ability to co-ordinate the delivery of editorial projects and to provide scientific excellence across a number of accounts and therapy areas.
Aiding other writers to interpret medical data. You will be responsible for producing manuscripts, posters, publications etc, and also help coordinate activities for less experienced colleagues. Writing across varying therapeutic areas - Diabetes and Oncology experience is an advantage. Contribute to developing the business in pursuing new leads and maximising potential opportunities. Developing editorial projects to meet and exceed client expectations. Responsibility for the quality, scientific integrity and timeliness of your work.
Educated to degree level - preferably a life-sciences subject. At least 3-5 years of Medical writing experience either in Medical Communications, a creative agency or equivalent. Experience in coordinating and managing within a Medical Communications advantage would be an advantage. The ability to multitask and work well under strain. The ability to work well self-sufficiently and in a team. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to share your medical knowledge.
