A Post-doctoral position is available in my laboratory to study the immune system of lungs with the focus on adaptive and innate immune system in the context of allergic disease and asthma. We are currently looking for a recent PhD graduate in the field of Allergy or Immunology. The priority will be given to applicants with an excellent background in immunology with at least one first author publication in Immunology related journals. We are seeking highly motivated and collaborative individuals capable of independent reasoning and excited about learning new technologies. The candidates should have excellent writing and communication skills and familiar with techniques such as multi color flow cytometry, cell isolation, tissue culture, ELISA, RT-PCR, animal handling and preferably able to measure airway hyperreactivity in animal models of asthma. The lab is located in recently built Norris Research Tower and equipped with State-of-the-art equipments such as multi-color flow cytometry analyzer and sorter and confocal microscopy.
