Demonstrating excellent proactive cooperation and initiative you will provide new ideas and concepts in the field of Nutrition and Gastrointestinal physiology particularly in the field of Gut comfort and digestion in infants.

Key responsibilities

Reinforce the expertise on gastrointestinal physiology to provide innovative ideas and scientific insight to the strategy of NRC in the field of Gut comfort & wellbeing and tolerance to feeding while properly addressing the increasing number of requests from the business Contribute to scientific NRC strategy in particular in the field of Gut comfort and digestion in particular in infants Strengthen scientific credibility in the domain of digestive health by quality publications and presentations internally and externally Ensure internal and external scientific communication Respond to R&D and business requests through knowledge and/or literature research Coach and develop technicians and peers in the field of expertise. Apply knowledge to complex problems across scientific / technical fields and/or cross categories. Design and promote clinical studies in the above mentioned fields

Education and experience

MD/PhD with good knowledge of Gastro-intestinal physiology / pharmacology, preferably in the gut comfort and feeding intolerance fields 3 to 5 years post-doc experience in functional gastrointestinal disorders, gut motility and/or digestion, preferably in infants and children Strong and practical experience in running physiological, nutritional or pharmacological preclinical/clinical trials. Proven track-record of publications Fluency in English Show us that you demonstrate strong result focus, combined with team-spirit and ability to inspire and engage others.
