Summary of Duties: Investigating novel mechanisms of DNA damage response signaling, metabolism, and cell death in tumor and tumor microenvironment under the guidance of scientific mentor; performs research techniques including but not limited to cellular and molecular biological cycle analysis, and animal modeling of cancer; attends and presents at national and international meetings and workshops; with Principal Investigator, may mentor or train graduate students, medical students, or undergraduate students.
Education/Experience (MD or PhD degree required): Doctoral degree in molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or an applicable field required; experiences with genetic animal models, bioinformatics analysis are plus.
