Two postdoctoral fellow positions are available in the area of biomedical optics/nonlinear optics in the Department of Physics, University of Texas at El Paso. Current research projects are aimed at two-photon microscopy and Raman microscopy. Applicants should have strong background in physics or biomedical engineering. Candidates with experience in nonlinear optics for biomedical applications are highly encouraged to apply. Experience in programming is a plus. Interested candidates should send in their detailed CV, a cover letter describing research experience, and names and contact information of three referees.

A PhD (or equivalent) in Physics, Biomedical Engineering or a related field is required. Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas is needed: optics, biophysics, biomedical imaging. Programming experience in Matlab, LabView and C++ is a plus.
