Research Faculty (non-tenured) The Cardiovascular Research Center and Department of Physiology
Temple University School of Medicine (TUSM) is seeking qualified applicants for a non-tenure track faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level. The successful candidate will work within The Cardiovascular Research Center (CRVC) and Department of Physiology to study mechanisms of cardiac arrhythmogenesis. Candidates should have a consistent track record of published work as the primary author in the field of vascular biology and cytokine signaling. The successful candidate will have independent funding or be able to obtain independent funding within the term of their initial appointment. In addition, the candidate should have excellent technical skills and be able to independently design and engineer gene targeting constructs to create knockout and transgenic rodents, perform and interpret immunohistochemical and electron microscopic studies and perform viral vector infection studies with cardiomyocytes and endothelial cells.
