An NIH-funded post-doctoral position is immediately available at the Department of Biology at New York University (NYU). We combine multi-disciplinary approaches to investigate the epigenetic mechanisms that regulate heterochromatin and centromere. Further information about our research can be found at: Highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D./M.D. degree in Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genomics or related fields are encouraged to apply. Experiences with protein purification, genomic analysis, or immunofluorescence are desirable but not required. NYU provides competitive salary and excellent benefits for the position.
