As a Quality Control (QC) Supervisor for a global chemicals company you will undertake a pivotal role in leading a small quality team within quality control (QC) of microbial organisms, and agrochemical products.
Improve to existing Quality Control (QC) processes. Maintenance of Quality Control (QC) data, including providing historical data and information to the production team. Responsibility for dealing with quality issues arising from production. Ensuring products are packaged within specification. Liaise closely with the production, sales and marketing team. Manage a small team to ensure the smooth running of the Quality Control (QC) department.
Other Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Degree level in biochemistry, microbiology, or a relevant science such as biology, or zoology. Previous laboratory experience and working knowledge in compliance with relevant standards and directives of Quality, QC and Safety and Environment. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office software packages. You should possess the ability to work as part of a team. Good communication skills. Organise and plan workloads.
Graduates with some work experience looking for a next step up could be considered.
