For a company that made its name by building one of the world's most popular social networks, Facebook itself often comes across as, well, antisocial.

Facebook is invaluable as a forum for finding long-lost friends, not to mention sharing links, photos and personal videos. For better and worse, the site has even redefined the word "like."

Of course Facebook manages to use all of this goodwill to its own advantage. And the company often needs to be reminded that there are limits to how much it can exploit user information for profit.

Facebook has settled a class-action lawsuit that forces it to be more clear that clicking on the "Like" button means your name and photo can be used to endorse whatever movie, product or politician you "liked."

Most recently, Facebook surreptitiously modified user profiles to replace their original e-mail addresses with @facebook.com addresses. Mail sent to that address becomes a Facebook message to a user. You’d think that a company with so many loyal followers would have announced this ahead of time. That’s a definite dislike.

As far as I'm concerned facebook has attracted a lot of people all over the world even our grandmothers.
and it become the main entertainment for a lot of people so I dont know why it is inundated with a lots of complaints although there is a bottom called "By clicking Sign Up, you agree to our Terms and that you have read and understand our Data Use Policy" which exactly mentions that " facebook can use your information" .
as all of you know these kinds of programing have a lot of operation and maintenance costs.
actually I appriciate the manager of this fantastic social network.

    hi
I think that Facebook is not as good as your quantification because every one can joining to this social site and see your information and say his or her comments about your pictures, status and etc... this work is a kind of robbery, you know, there are some notes and pictures that are not suitable for every one and make mental problem for children. so we have to be careful.

Nowadays, facebook is more important than before. To be good or bad, it has about 950 millions members that more than half of them use it in mobile. This website is vary popular between social networks. However, it has some disadvantages too.
Although contact with the others and find new friends, some other people may rub your profile such as; pictures, information,...etc. For example LIKE bottom led facebook shear your profile for the others, I mean a stranger can view it very easily if you like his/her posts. This was the fact of like bottom.
In spite of having these bad points, facebook could be a new address for your emails because of a large membership. Just try it. Your email will be a kind of notification in this website.
Finally, if you have enough information about how to use this web, it won't have any trouble for you. So be aware of it.

    Hi,
As my idea, facebook can be good and also it can be a bad social network:
it can be a good social net work, because we can find our old frieds in that and keep in touch together we can be awar of world news, also we can go to the page of our favorite actor, singer& etc. and click on "LIKE" and be informed about him or her.
And it is bad because anyone can save your picture and use it for somthing that you don,t like and it can causes a trouble.Or the other people can read your information.
and also some people use some pictures and share some things that it,s not so goOd.

I personally believe that ,finally, today technologhy could not improve our life as it was expected. Although human could develope some great achievments, the demerits were far more than the merits. As a matter of fact, the new modern technologhy is destroying itself. The well-known social network Facebook, started for the purpose of extending the social comunication, appeard in court due to commiting some antisocial behaviours. Moreover, I regret that I should employ the phrase "Facebook addicts" which can describe the extremely worrying situation itself. Nevertheless, I myself am a Facebook member since if you want to adapt yourself to everday life, you should just follow it. In spite of all mentioned problems, you can take some advantages of it,just if you use it in a proper way.

In my opinion,Facebook is like a knife. You can reture a life to a person in a surgery or you can kill one person in a fight by that.If you use Facebook there will be no danger for you. There are some gossips that saying some countries and companies are paying billions of money too discover that what are some interests and views in a special country by some applications & it's clear that this apps are so complicated and also very expensive & it's possible by social sites. It's obvious that for having more accurate you have to have more people to ask them and Facebook is the largest social site with almost 1 billion members. The apps focus on the discussions, likes and dislikes, photoes and movies and favorites of people in a coutry to find out what they think and what they want and what they like. For example imagine Sony wants to sell on of its cellphones in the US.they will search by those apps and rob all information they need and for example they understand that most of people in the US like blue color. So,they make more blue cellphones for exporting to US.It's very important and also it was mentioned in CLICK program in BBC.But lots of people don't pay attention to it.
    So,please becareful.
