Foot Fossil Hints at New Upright-Walking Species

A new foot fossil has surprised researchers who study how walking evolved in primates. The foot is the same age as the famous 'Lucy' fossil, but the shape of its bones suggest it walked differently and could represent a newly-discovered species.
