A new machine for the manufacture of bricks "by the application of Dick's powerful press, is "being constructed under tlie direction of J. E. Holmes, at Hadley FaiJ, for a gentle-man of Taunton, Mass. By this machine above 50,000 bricks can be made per day, with a pressure of 1,400 tons, exerted on every six bricks. A full description of this new building material, as it may be properly designated, and of the apparatus by which it is made, will be given by us in the course of a lew months.
