Abby McBride is a writer, artist, and naturalist. At times she has also laid claim to the titles of ecology researcher, lobster boat helmsman, swim coach, farmhand, piano instructor, and pastry chef. Abby holds a graduate degree in science writing from MIT and a bachelor's in biology from Williams College. When not pursuing odd projects in far-flung places, she lives and sketch-blogs in New England.
