Amy Summerville is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Miami University. Her research examines how people think about "what might have been" and how these thoughts relate to the experience of regret. Dr. Summerville's research has been published in top journals in social psychology (e.g., Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Social Psychological and Personality Science, Psychological Science) and is highly cited within the field. She serves on the editorial boards of Social Cognition, Social Psychological and Personality Science, and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. Dr. Summerville grew up near Indianapolis and will be cheering for Peyton Manning and his teammates on Sunday.
