Britta Voss earned her PhD from the MIT/Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Joint Program in Oceanography in 2014 and is currently a postdoctoral researcher. Richard Somerville is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of California - San Diego, Science Director of the non-profit science and outreach organization Climate Communication, and the 2015 recipient of the AGU Climate Communication Prize. Nathan Phillips is a Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Boston University
