Dr. Caleb McClennen is Executive Director for Marine Conservation at the Wildlife Conservation Society where he oversees efforts to improve fisheries management and establish effective marine reserves to conserve some of the world's most important marine biodiversity in the waters of 24 countries across all five oceans. Caleb also currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University's School for International and Public Affairs and the Earth Institute's Center for Environmental Sustainability. Prior to joining WCS, Caleb spent over ten years at sea and abroad as an Environmental Advisor to the Republic of the Marshall Islands, a GIS analyst and marine scientist with Woods Hole Sea Education Association. Caleb holds an undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Environmental Studies and Geography and a Masters and PhD from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in International Environmental Policy and Development Economics.
