Stories by Cory Simon and Berend Smit

Cory Simon is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. Cory uses computer simulations and mathematical models to design/identify nanoporous materials for use as adsorbents inside an automotive natural gas fuel tank.
Berend Smit is Professor of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley. Berend specializes in developing molecular simulation techniques. Recently, Berend became interested in using Big Data methods to discover novel materials for carbon capture and methane storage.
