Erik Larson studies Earth and planetary atmospheres primarily through numerical modeling. He received his PhD in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from the University of Colorado. He has worked at NOAA is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University. His science outreach includes writing for Youngzine and Scientific American and speaking in the FameLab competition.
