Joy Comes with Discovery: A Conversation with Linda Buck, PhD
Erin Johnson likes to think of herself as a "Citizen of the World". She's a fun-loving, cheerful girl from the mid-west, who loves to read, snowboard, and travel the globe. After teaching English in Japan, Erin moved to the U.K. to complete a Masters in Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Brighton. She is now in the Ph.D. program at Cornell University in the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior, where she studies the role of perceptual learning on neurogenesis and olfactory information processing in the olfactory bulb.
