A mathematician shares new strategies for making patterns with repeating symmetries
Frank A. Farris teaches in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, at Santa Clara University. Through 2009, he served once more as Editor of Mathematics Magazine, an official publication of the Mathematical Association of America. His current position with the MAA is Chair of the Council on Publications and Communications. During fall quarter 2011, he served as Benedict Distinguished Visiting Professor at Carleton College.
