György Buzsáki is Biggs Professor of Neuroscience at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine. He studies memory formation and how brain rhythms affect cognition. He was a co-recipient of the 2011 Brain Prize from the Lundbeck Foundation. Buzsáki is author most recently of The Brain from Inside Out (Oxford University Press, 2019).
