Harold R. Garner, PhD, is the Associate Vice-Provost for Research Development and Executive Director, Primary Care Research Network and Executive Director, The Center for Bioinformatics and Genetics and is a Professor of Biomedicine at VCOM. He is a Senior Research Member of the affiliated Gibbs Cancer Center. Dr. Garner received his BS in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Missouri – Rolla, a Ph.D. in plasma physics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and also holds an honorary professional engineering degree. Dr. Garner has published over 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and made contributions to several books and is a serial entrepreneur.
