Hope Ferdowsian is an associate professor of medicine at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and a double board-certified internal medicine and preventive medicine physician with expertise in research ethics and research policy. She is a medical expert for Physicians for Human Rights and co-founder of the Society of Asylum Medicine. Ferdowsian is also a fellow of the American College of Physicians and of the American College of Preventive Medicine. She earned an M.D. at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and a master of public health degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
