Ian Hickie is a professor of psychiatry and the co-director of health and policy at the Brain and Mind Center at the University of Sydney. He has led major public health and health services developments in Australia, particularly focusing on early intervention for young people with depression, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, and complex mood disorders. Through co-design, implementation and continuous evaluation, Hickie is active in the development of new health information and personal monitoring technologies to drive highly personalized and measurement-based care. He is a 5 percent shareholder in InnoWell Pty Ltd. (the joint venture of PwC Australia and University of Sydney).
