Ilana Harrus is a French astrophysicist working for the Universities Space Research Association at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Her research interest is in x-ray emission from supernova remnants and pulsars, and she serves as part of the XMM-Newton user support group. She is involved in education and public outreach programs and is a volunteer for "Ask a High-Energy Astronomer." She is the new press officer for the high-energy astrophysics division of the American Astronomical Society.
