Jenny Morber is a freelance science writer with diverse and eclectic interests and a love for field reporting. She has written independently for Wired, NatGeo, Slate, Argonne National Labs, and more, and as a former staff writer for the Proceedings of the National Academies of Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering with a focus on the intersections between nanomaterials, magnetism and biotech. Earlier in her career, Morber worked as a consultant and co–grant writer for nano-enabled defense technologies.
