Krista Bywater is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Muhlenberg College. In her research, teaching, and consulting she focuses on international development, environmental problems, gender equality, and social inclusion. Krista's work and research have taken her around the world from Antigua, West Indies, to India, and Zambia. Before becoming a faculty member she was an Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow and a Consortium for Faculty Diversity Dissertation Fellow. Krista is a leader of 500 Women Scientists.
