Lisa Richardson is a physician of mixed Anishinaabe and European ancestry. She holds numerous leadership roles, including vice chair of culture and inclusion in the University of Toronto's Department of Medicine and strategic lead in Indigenous health for the Faculty of Medicine. She chairs the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada's Indigenous Health Committee.
