Marion Blank is a psychologist known for her work on language, both spoken and written. One of the tests she developed, the Preschool Language Assessment Instrument (PLAI), has been translated into over a dozen languages. Her latest computer program--Comprendi--focuses on reading comprehension in children from fourth to sixth grade.
